Building Block: 2 Kicks 1 Stroke


  • One full stroke
  • One more kick
  • Keep same timing


Building Block: Breast Kicking in the corner


  • Have the swimmer float in the corner
  • Have them push themselves out of the water with their breast kick


Building Block: Breast Kicking on the Wall


  • For a swimmer with one leg problems have them swim next to the wall
  • Kick off of the wall with the bad foot


Building Block: Piston Drill


  • Keep hands in streamline
  • Touch the head as your feet recover
  • Extend the hands as your kick
